D. High Ash Fuel Content Maintenance

Poor quality pellet fuel, or lack of maintenance, can create
conditions that make the repot ll quickly with ashes and
clinkers.
This condition makes the appliance susceptible to overlling
the repot with pellets which may result in smoking, soot-
ing and possible hopper res. The gure below shows an
example where the repot overlls, pellets back up into the
feed tube and ash has accumulated in the rebox.
An inefcient and non-economical method of burning of fuel
caused by poor quality pellet fuel is shown below.
If the ash buildup exceeds the half way point in the repot
IMMEDIATE ATTENTION AND CLEANING IS REQUIRED.
