Location of the appliance and chimney will affect
performance.
Install through the warm airspace enclosed by the building
envelope. This helps to produce more draft, especially
during lighting and die-down of the re.
Penetrate the highest part of the roof. This minimizes the
affects of wind loading.
Locate termination cap away from trees, adjacent
structures, uneven roof lines and other obstructions.
Minimize the use of chimney offsets.
Consider the appliance location relative to oor and ceiling
and attic joists.
Take into consideration the termination requirements.

E. Inspect Appliance & Components
Remove appliance and components from packaging
and inspect for damage.
Report to your dealer any parts damaged in shipment.
