The Plextor M6G-2280 SATA M.2 SSD brings the power, quality, and performance of Plextor’s multiple award-winning SSDs to the M.2 80 x
22 mm SATA slot. Available in capacities up to 512 GB with maximum sequential read/write speeds of 520/450 MB/s and max. random
read/write speeds of 95K/81K IOPS. The M6G-2280’s M.2 form factor makes it the perfect way to add the uncompromising performance of
a Plextor SATA SSD directly to your motherboard.
Like all of Plextor’s legendary SSDs, the M6G uses the best components, carefully selected from the world’s top suppliers, including a Marvell
controller, high-quality Toshiba Toggle NAND flash memory, and Plextor’s in-house developed exclusive firmware. Powerful Plextor
TrueSpeed technology keeps the drive at like-new speeds even it’s nearing capacity and after periods of heavy use.
The M6G-2280 is compatible with 22 x 80 mm, M.2 SATA slots, or M.2 slots, supporting SATA/PCIe in SATA mode. Its small size aids airflow
around the case, and the M6G is extremely easy to install. Plus 100% of the drives are subjected to an extended burn-in and accelerated
usage simulation so that every individual drive reaches maximum performance and reliability in use.
