Turn off the water before loosening any connections

or disassembling the faucet. When working underneath

a sink, protect your eyes from any dust or dirt by wearing

protective goggles.

Safety Tips

Most faucet problems can be fixed by tightening a nut or

connection or replacing a washer. Check supply line

connections for any leaks and tighten if necessary. Don’t

overtighten any supply line connections.

Preparation/Assembly (Steps 1-5) 1. Shut off the water supply at the shut-off valves. Remove the existing supply lines and faucet mounting nuts. Remove the old faucet from the sink. 1 2. Remove any dirt or plumber’s putty from around the faucet holes on the sink. 2 3 . Snap the grooved edges on the hose guide (28) for the side spray into the guide flange (27). Place the unit into the fourth hole in the sink, located on the right side of the faucet. 27 28 3 4.

Assembly (Steps 6-10) 6. Place the spray hose (22) in the spray hose guide (28) until the spray head (29) rests in the spray hose guide (28, see inset). 22 29 6 28 7. From underneath the sink, push the spray hose (22) up through the middle of the three remaining faucet holes. 7 8. Push the spray hose (22) onto the hose connection on the faucet. Give the spray hose a tug to ensure that it’s properly connected. 8 9.

Assembly (Steps 11-15) 11. Attach one end of the water supply lines onto the faucet shanks, hot water on the left and cold water on the right. (NOTE: If you are installing new water supply lines, please refer to the supply line manufacturer’s installation instructions.) Tighten the supply line connections using an adjustable or basin wrench. Do not over-tighten 11 12. Attach the remaining ends of the water supply lines to the hot and cold shut-off valves and tighten with a wrench.

Troubleshooting If a faucet installation doesn’t deliver water properly or leaks, finding the cause and fixing it can be easy. Problem: Cause: Uneven water flow. Aerator assembly (21) is dirty or improperly installed Action: Loosen the aerator with a wrench. Use a cloth to protect the finish. Problem: Cause: Water leaks from underneath the handle (1). Improper cartridge (6) installation or worn seals. Action: Turn the water off. Remove the faucet handle using an allen wrench (not included.
