Assembly (Steps 6-8)

8. After the faucet connections has been checked for leaks, run hot

and cold water uninterrupted for about one minute to remove any

residue from the lines. Replace and tighten the threaded aerator

and vacuum breaker.

7. Open the hot and cold water supply valves. Check for leaks at

the shut off valves and the faucet shanks. If leaks occur, tighten

the nuts on the water supply lines and shut off valve.

6. Before turning the water on, unscrew and remove the threaded

aerator (18) and vacuum breaker (19) from the faucet spout.

If necessary, use pliers and a cloth to protect the faucet

aerator’s threads.
