Hue
Hue is the wavelength of a color. Altering the hue changes the base color of an
image.
Saturation
Saturation represents the pureness of a color. Altering the saturation makes
the colors more intense or washed out.
Lightness
Lightness defines the amount of white or black in a color. Altering the lightness
affects the brightness of the image.
Default
Clicking the Default button on the lower right corner
revert the
settings to its
original values and discard all adjustments you have made.
This feature is available only when
Color
is selected as
Scan Mode
.

Channel
Along the top of the Gamma and Histogram tabs is the Color Channel
selection.
This can be useful in comparing color ranges between the color
values, and in identifying methods when editing specific areas
.
If the
Master
channel is selected, your change to the Gamma and Histogram
values affect all 3 color channels evenly and keeps them balanced.
If an individual color (
Red
,
Green
or
Blue
) is selected, your change to the
Gamma and Histogram values affect pixels containing that color.
Master channel is the only active channel for gray images.
