TERMS OF USE
PLX Devices Inc. does not guarantee product functionality with any third party device. Implementation and integration of the PLX products with
any other device(s) must be done at your own risk. Improper installation and usage may lead to engine damage. PLX Devices Inc. does not guarantee
product functionality with all surfaces.
LIMITED WARRANTY
PLX Devices Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects for 1 year from the date of purchase. If applicable, Oxygen sensors and other non-
serviceable items are excluded from stated warranty. Serviceable goods must be determined by PLX Devices to be defective before any warranty or
replacement is issued. PLX Devices’ obligation under warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing, under the discretion of PLX Devices, any part
proven defective. is warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of parts in the manufactured good and the necessary labor done to aect its
repair or replacement.
SERVICE UNDER WARRANTY
In the unlikely event that your PLX Devices hardware should fail during the warranty period, a Return Material Authorization number (RMA) must
be rst retrieved from PLX Devices Customer Support. Support can be contacted through email: [e-mail] or by phone: [phone]. All
serviceable goods must be packaged securely with proof of purchase, RMA number, with all shipping charges prepaid and shipped to PLX Devices Inc.
Goods returned under warranty must be received by PLX Devices Inc. within ten (10) business days aer the RMA number has been issued. Goods
received aer this period are subject to fees for the service of repair or replacement. All repaired or replaced items shall be warranted for the remainder
of the original product warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.
RETURNS AND RESTOCKING FEE
All returns must be within 30 days of receipt. A 15% restocking fee will apply to applicable PLX Devices products returned for refund. Shipping
charges are non-refundable once performed. All returns are to be packed in original condition including packaging, documentation, manuals, and
accessories. Returns that do not include all the accessories and components may be returned to the customer or charged on a per item basis. e
customer assumes responsibility for product until receipt at PLX Devices Inc. Shipping via an insurable carrier is recommended. Any unauthorized
shipping charges will be billed to the customer or shipment will be refused.
DISCLAIMER
PLX Devices Inc. shall not be liable for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any legal theory including, but not limited
to, lost prots, downtime, goodwill, damage, injury to persons, or replacement of equipment and property due to improper installation, integration
and/or misuse of any PLX Devices Inc.’s product(s). is warranty applies to the original purchaser of product and is non-transferable. All implied
warranties shall be limited in duration to the said 1 year warranty period.
Warning:
Do not use the charging cable to charge any device other than the Yaba Speaker.
Using the Yaba Surface Sound Speaker
Troubleshooting:
e Yaba Speaker does not turn on
e speaker battery might be low. Please use the provided charging cable to charge your speaker.
e audio signal quality is choppy or the volume is too low

Try a dierent surface or decrease the volume; the Yaba Speaker’s frequency response and sensi-
tivity are dependent on the exciter’s resting surface. inner, smaller materials will tend to be louder
and facilitate mid/tweeter response. icker, larger materials will be slightly quieter but result in
more full-range sound.
Indications:
Use provided charge cable only.
Provided charge cable only provides charging and will not interface computer audio. For use with
computer, use provided audio cable.
Do not expose Yaba Speaker to re or extreme heat.
Do not disassemble or alter the Yaba Speaker.
Do not submerge Yaba Speaker in water (or other liquids) or place in a wet environment.
Do not use Yaba in an environment outside of a temperature range of -20 degrees C to 85
degrees C.
is product complies with FCC Part 15 rules. Operation of this product is permitted in USA; this
product may not cause harmful interference and is able to accept any harmful interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation.
is Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian Interference Causing Equipment Regulations.
Step One
Turn on the Yaba Speaker by holding down the
power button for 3 seconds. e blue lights will
turn on when the unit is on. e Yaba comes with
a 60% charge.
Step Two
Plug in the audio cable into the Yaba Speaker
port. Turn on your audio device, and plug in the
other side of the cable into its audio output port.

Place the Yaba Speaker on various surfaces. e Yaba Speaker’s frequency response and sensitivity
are dependent on the exciter’s resting surface. inner, smaller materials will tend to be louder and
facilitate mid/tweeter response. icker, larger materials will be slightly quieter but result in more
full-range sound.
Charging the Yaba Speaker
Connect the charging cable to the Yaba using the audio jack plug. Connect the USB side of the
charging cable into any active USB port to begin charging. e red charging LEDs will turn on
during charging. When the Yaba is fully charged, the purple LED will ash. Charging should take
roughly three hours to charge completely.
Step Four
Enjoy! Volume is controlled by the music playing
device that you connected to the Yaba.
Turn o the Yaba by holding down the power button for about 3 seconds while the unit is on.
