PMK presents a unique inline probing system – the TETRIS
®
Active Probe
which can contact adjacent square pins in 2.54 mm pitch simultaneously.
The probe‘s housing is T-shaped so that many probes can be positioned
next to each other in a never ending chain.
Like this a number of measurements can be performed at the same time.
The TETRIS
®
is system-independant and its standard BNC connector can
be plugged into any measuring instrument with a 50 Ω input.
Bandwidth DC of up to 1.5 GHz
With an input resistance of 1 MΩ and an input capacitance of 0.9 pF the
TETRIS
®
probe is suitable for measurements in all frequency ranges.
Two models are available – the TETRIS
®
1000 with a bandwidth DC to
1 GHz and the TETRIS
®
1500 with a bandwidth DC to 1.5 GHz.

Typical Passive Probe Tetris Active Probe
Compared to passive probes the TETRIS
®
aktive probe offers a high
input impedance into the GHz-range.
Passive probes with their relative high input capacitance load the signal
source already at frequencies above 100 kHz.
That‘s why the TETRIS
®
active probe‘s high input resistance and its low
input capacitance make it the ideal probe for all your measurements.
Very short ground connections can be established with the ground blade
and the copper pads – for signal true measurements on ICs.
Accessories
Both TETRIS
®
models are shipped with useful accessories – a solid tip as
well as a spring-loaded contact tip. Also a selection of different ground
connectors and leads are included in the scope of delivery as well as
miniature test hooks (Picohooks).
