Hybrid Technology
PMK Miniature-, Standard- and High Voltage
probes are built with ceramic-substrates in thick
and thin layer-technology. Laser-trimmed resistors
ensure high divider precision. High bandwidths, fast
risetimes and an outstanding pulse reproduction are
accomplished. PMK probes excel with great voltage
stability and guarantee an overall good frequency
behavior.

The package density of SMD circuits nowadays is increasing. Compact
dividers with fine probe tips are needed to safely measure them. PMK
offers miniature probes with 2.5 mm and 5 mm housing diameter for
delicate measurement tasks. System bandwidths of up to 500 MHz and
input voltages of up to 400 Volts (1250 V transient overvoltage) in mea-
surement category I make our PML and PMM series probes multifunctional.
Each probe naturally is shipped with the spring-loaded contact tip – our
signature feature.

Our switchable standard PMS, PMT and PMTG series probes reach band-
widths of up to 350 MHz in 10:1 mode.
The reed switches we use have a breakdown voltage of > 4000 V.
Another advantage is their life time with over 500.000 switching cycles.
All probes are available with a standard cable length of 1.2 meters, as well
2 or 3 meters.
High Voltage Probes

PHV Series
For higher voltage ranges PMK offers the PHV Series with attenuations of
100:1 and optional 1000:1. A system bandwidth of up to 400 MHz makes
safe and accurate pulse measurements of up to 6 kV in measurement
category I possible. The divider‘s rated input voltage in measurement cate-
gory II is 1000 V CAT II.

Broadband dividers with lockable BNC in- and out-connectors for perma-
nent or semi-permanent installation in test devices, vehicles or machines.
