Compliance with International Standards 101
In all Metropolitan departments, wireless LAN fre-
quencies can be used under the following condi-
tions, either for public or private use:
• Indoor use: maximum power (EIRP*) of 100
mW for the entire 2400-2483.5 MHz frequency
band
• Outdoor use: maximum power (EIRP*) of 100
mW for the 2400-2454 MHz band and with maxi-
mum power (EIRP*) of 10 mW for the 2454-2483
MHz band.
IMPORTANT: Changes or modications to this product
not authorized could void the EMC and wireless compli-
ance and negate your authority to operate the product.
This product has demonstrated EMC compliance under
conditions that included the use of compliant peripheral
devices and shielded cables between system components.
It is important that you use compliant peripheral devices
and shielded cables between system components to re-
duce the possibility of causing interference to radios, tel-
evisions, and other electronic devices.
