This section outlines the safety precautions associated with using PM200 handy terminal.
☞NOTE: PM200handy terminals meet or exceed the requirements of all applicable standards organizations for
safeoperation. However, as with any electrical equipment, the best way to ensure safe operation is to read this manual
carefully before performing any type of connection to the handy terminal and operate them according to the agency
guidelines described in the manual.
2.1. General Safety Rules
CAUTION
 Use only the components supplied by the manufacturer for the specificPM200 being used.
 Do not attempt to disassemble the PM200handy terminal, as it does not contain parts that can
be repaired by the user. Any tampering will invalidate the warranty.
 When replacing the battery pack or at the end of the operative life of thePM200 handy terminal,
disposal must be performed in compliance with the laws in force in your country.
 Before using the devices and the battery packs, readthis manual carefully.
 Do not submerge the PM200 handy terminal in liquid products.
