Backup and restore
How to Make Backup
A backup file is a copy of all the data that has been recorded into the system up until the moment
the backup was taken. You can restore the data if your PC crashes or loses the data at some
point, so all the data won't be lost.
Team
2
software takes backups automatically when the software is opened. Still, it is important to
take backups every now and then. Also, it is recommended that you take a backup before
updating the software or installing a newer version. It is also recommended that you save the
backup file on an external storage device, for example, USB flash drive or external hard drive, in
addition to the PC's internal hard drive.
To make backup file:
1. Open Team
2
software.
2. Click File > Backup and Restore. A popup window opens.
3. Select Backup and click OK. The window disappears.
The backup file is saved into the software's directory. If you were using the default settings
during the installation of the software, the backup file can be found from the following directory:
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Polar\Team2\data\Backup\
Windows Vista: C:\xxx\
