How to Add Transmitters
When the original 10 transmitters are not enough or some of the original transmitters have to be
re-added, the Add new transmitter function becomes handy. New transmitters can be added by
using the base station or the USB dongle.
Do not attach number labels to empty transmitters beforehand!
To add transmitters, follow these steps:
1. Open the Team
2
software.
2. Connect the base station to the PC.
3. Remove the transmitters from the charger.
4. Click Tools > Add New Transmitter. A popup window appears.
5. As the instructions on the display assert, insert only new transmitters into the charger and
plug the power cable into the charger.
6. Make sure that you have either the base station connected to the PC (lights 1 and 2 are
on) or you have plugged in the USB dongle.
7. Click the Search new transmitter(s) button. Wait until the search is done.
8. After the search is done, the software tells you how many transmitters were found. If you
have more transmitters in the charger than were found, make sure the transmitters are
inserted
correctly and click Search new transmitter(s) again.
9. After all the transmitters have been found, select the first transmitter on the transmitter list
by clicking it.
10. Next, click the Activate connection button. The red box in front of the chosen transmitter
turns to green and starts blinking. At the same time, a green light is lit on one of the
transmitters in the charger. NOTE: It may take couple of second the green light to light
up!
11. To finalize the connection, remove the transmitter that has a green light on it from the
charger.
12. Mark the transmitter with number label that is in accordance with transmitter's number.
13. Repeat steps 9 to 12 until all the transmitters are activated and labeled.
