1. Select the wireless connection icon in the lower right corner of the main view of your
PDA.
2. If there's a red cross on the Wi-Fi logo, tap on the logo to enable the Wi-Fi adapter. Also
the Wi-Fi adapter settings are enabled.
Set the wireless connection settings ready for the base station:
1. Switch on the base station if it's not already switched on. Wait for approx. 1 minute for the
base station to get ready (until the blue light 1 is lit).
2. Open the wireless connections by selecting the wireless connection icon in the lower right
corner of the main view of your PDA.
3. If the Wi-Fi adapter is enabled, select Settings. If the Wi-Fi adapter is disabled, enable it
before selecting Settings.
4. A list of available wireless networks appears. Select the wireless network of the base
station to which you want to connect the PDA to.
5. The options in the first tab (General) should be left as they are.
6. Select the Network Key tab.
7. Select WEP from the Authentication drop-down list.
8. Select WEP from the Data Encryption drop-down list.
9. Type the wireless network key you have selected during Wizard into the Network Key
input field.
10. The options in the third tab (802.1x) should be left as they are.
11. Click OK in the upper right corner to accept the settings.
Establish the wireless connection between the PDA and the base station:
1. Switch on the base station if it's not already switched on. Wait for approx. 1 minute for the
base station to get ready (until the blue light 1 is lit).
2. Open the Team

PDA software.
3. Select Menu > Connect. The PDA establishes a wireless connection to the base station
if the wireless connection settings are correctly set.
To disconnect the PDA from the base station's wireless network, select Menu > Disconnect.
The connection is closed automatically. NOTE that the Wi-Fi adapter is still enabled.
How to Open Team
Before you can monitor players' heart rates online, a team must be selected.
1. Open the Team

PDA software.
2. Select Menu > Open Team.
3. If the folder in which the team files are stored is not displayed by default, select the folder
from the Folder drop-down list.
4. Tap on the team's name to select the team.
5. The player selection window is opened automatically if you have checked the Player
selection shown after Team file is opened option in player selection.
NOTE that the PDA has to be
synchronized with the PC software and connected to the base
station before you can monitor players' heart rates online.
