Operation
The product must not be used in or under water.
Do not operate the product if it is still in its packaging.
Do not hang any objects from the product and do not
cover the product.
The LEDs are neither dimmable nor replaceable.
1. Remove the product from the packaging.
2. Place the product on a dry, horizontal surface, e.g. a table,
window ledge, etc.
3. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw on the
battery compartment and remove the lid.
4. Insert three AA batteries. We recommend using high quality
batteries. Observe the correct polarity (“+” = positive, “-“ =
negative), as stated on the battery box.
5. Reattach the cover and retighten the screw.
6. Make sure that the suction cup and the mounting surface are
clean, dry and free from grease and dust.
7. Mount the product to the mounting surface (e.g. window)
using the suction cup. Apply a little pressure to ensure that
the suction cup fastens.
8. You can switch the product on/o by the on/o switch on
the battery box (ON = on, OFF = o).
9. In order to use the timer, slide the switch to Timer position
at the desired time. The product turns on and stays on for
approx. 6 hours. The product automatically turns on every
day at the same time and o again after approx. 6 hours. If
you do not wish to use the timer function any longer, set the
switch to O position
10. Switch the product o and remove the batteries from the
battery box, if you are not using the product for a longer
period of time.
11. In order to remove the suction cup from the mounting
surface, pull the small suction cup latch away from the
mounting surface.
Replace the batteries when the LEDs no longer light up.
Maintenance and cleaning
•The product is maintenance-free, except for any change of
batteries and occasional cleaning.
•Switch the product o before cleaning and let the LEDs cool
down suciently.
•To clean, use a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt,
slightly dampen the cloth with water. Allow the product to dry
completely before continued use.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not
be disposed of in the household waste. At the end of its
service life, dispose of the product according to the
relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them
separately from the product.
b) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery
Ordinance) to return all used batteries. Disposing of
them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate
that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations
for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Lead (name on batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the
left).
Used batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the
protection of the environment.
