Product overview
Operation
The product must not be used in or under water.
Do not operate the product if it is still in its packaging.
Do not hang any objects from the product and do not
cover the product.
Do not place the product near sources of heat such as
chimneys or stoves.
The LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable.
1. Remove the product from the packaging. Remove the
protective foil.
2. Place the product on a horizontal surface such as a garden
table.
3. Remove the battery compartment cover.
4. Insert two AA batteries. We recommend using high-quality
batteries. Ensure that the batteries are inserted in the correct
polarity ( “+” = positive; “-” = negative), as indicated in the
battery compartment.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover.
6. To turn the light on and o, move the switch on the bottom
of the product to the On or O position.
7. If you do not plan to use the product for an extended period,
turn it o and remove the batteries.
Inserting/replacing the batteries
Replace the batteries if the LED stops working. Ensure that
no liquids get into the interior of the battery compartment
when changing the batteries.
Ensure that the on/o switch is set to the O position before
opening the battery compartment.
Remove the battery compartment cover.
Remove the used batteries.
Insert two new AA-batteries. We recommend using high-quality
batteries. Ensure that the batteries are inserted in the correct
polarity ( “+” = positive; “-” = negative), as indicated in the
battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment. The battery compartment
cover must audibly click into place.
Care and cleaning
Turn o the product and let it cool down suciently before
cleaning.
Remove the batteries before cleaning.
Do not use abrasive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other
chemical solutions, as these may damage the casing or stop the
product from functioning properly.
Use a clean, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product. Do not
pinch the real wax too hard, as this can lead to scratch marks or
damage.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not
be disposed of in the household waste. At the end of its
service life, dispose of the product according to the
relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them
separately from the product.
b) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery
Ordinance) to return all used batteries. Disposing of
them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate
that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations
for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Lead (name on batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the
left).
Used batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the
protection of the environment.
