Intended use The battery-operated LED candles are intended for decorative purposes in indoor areas. Each is operated by two AA batteries (not included in the delivery scope). The product generates a flickering effect. For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire etc.
a) Persons / Product • The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets. • Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material for children. • Always check the product for damages before use. Should you discover any damage, cease use of the product. • Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
b) Batteries • Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries. • Remove the batteries if you are not using the product for a long period of time to prevent damage due to leaks. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries. • Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
27 cm Product overview 2.25 cm Operation The product must not be used in or under water. Do not operate the product if it is still in its packaging. Do not hang any objects from the product and do not cover the product. Do not place the product near sources of heat such as chimneys or stoves. The LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable. 1. Remove the product from the packaging. 2. Turn the rubber battery compartment lid counter clockwise to open the battery compartment. 3.
5. Proceed as described in steps 2 to 4 to use the second LED- candle. 6. Attach each LED-candle to a candle holder. Make sure that the LED-candles are stable. Replacing the batteries are required when the LED does not light anymore. Care and cleaning • Turn off the product and let it cool down sufficiently before cleaning. • Remove the batteries before cleaning.
b) Batteries You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited. Contaminated batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
