Powering
Your
Subwoofer
Your
system
includes
a
deta
c
hable
power
cord
that's
packaged
separately
from
the
cabinet.
Insert
female
end
into
the
receptacle
on
the
amplifier
plate
and
insert
the
polarized
AC
plug
into
a
wall
outlet
(
or
power
strip).
We
do
not
recommend
connecting
the
subwoofer's
AC
power
cord
to
your
receiver
's
switched
outlet.

The
DC
Control
input
lets
you
p
ower
on
/
off
the
subwoofer
and
othe
r
home
theater
equipment
(ex.
amplifier
or
receiver)
at

same
time,
while
also

oviding
a
faster
way
to
power
on
the
subw

ofer
than
normal

ig
nal
detection.
To
get

he
most
from

e DC
Control
's
functionality,
connect
the
DC
input
(12V)
on
your
subwoofer
to
the
DC
output
(12V)
on
your
receiv
er
or
amplif
ier
using
a
1/8
"
TS
cab
l
e.
Be
sur
e
to
switch

subwoofer
to
DC
Controi/12V

rigger
mode.
W hen
the
subwoofer
receives
the
12V
input
it
will
immediately
turn
on,
and
sta
y on,
until
it
stops
rec
eiving
a 12V
signa
l.
If

the

detect

switch

"Off,"
