PERFORMANCE ENCLOSURES
Are available for all models. These are engi-
neered enclosures that mount in the wall or
ceiling to maximize the bass and midrange
performance of your LCj Speakers. They are
typically installed prior to drywalling in new
construction, but can be retrofitted if desired.
Note: LCj Series In-Wall Loudspeakers are
not magnetically shielded and should not
be placed closer than l' (30cm) from a
direct view television or video monitor.
If you experience discoloration or distortion,
immediately move the speakers away from
your TV.

Examples of in-wall and in·ceiling placement. When used as
rear/surrounds~ aim tweeter toward the nearest reflecting surface
(an adjacent wall or ceiling) for a more diffuse sound field.

DIRECTING THE DRIVER (LCi60 & LCi 80)
The fixed 15° angled driver in the ceiling
speaker allows you to direct the midrange
towards your listening area when used for
front stage (l~ft-center-right). When used as
rear surrounds or 6.1 or 7.1 back speakers,
direct the driver towards the listening area
for a more direct sound field or toward a
wall for a more diffuse soundfield.

To aim the LCi Ring Radiator Tweeter, use your fingers to gently
manipulate the outer ring of the tweeter cup, pushing lightly one
way or the other to tilt the tweeter, until it is aimed in the direc·
tion
of your listening position. DO NOT GRAB OR TURN THE PRO·
TRUDING
TWEETER PHASE PLUG IN THE CENTER OF THE TWEETER.
This phase plug is fragile.
