T R O U B L E S H O OT I NG Problem The AC power cable is plugged in, but there’s no power. There’s no sound or the volume is too low. 14 Solution • Make sure both ends of the AC power cable are completely plugged into their respective sockets. • Make sure the wall outlet is live. • Make sure the power switch is in the On position (up), and that the power indicator is illuminated. Turn down the main volume on the PA-5150 before troubleshooting this problem.
Problem Solution The sound is too loud or distorted. • Turn down the volume control of your input device. • Turn down the input gain level of the channel that’s distorting. • Turn down the main level. There is audible noise or hum. • Turn the main level all the way down. If the noise or hum disappears, the problem is with one of the input devices. • Make sure cables from your input devices are not running near AC or lighting cables or other devices that can create interference.
