-1075 SHOTGUN MICROPHONE PRODUCT MANUAL 1
THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING POLSEN. The Polsen SCL-1075 makes it easier than ever for you to capture clear, natural audio on your DSLR or camcorder. This cardioid condenser shotgun microphone attaches to your camera’s shoe mount or to a boom pole and plugs into the camera’s audio input jack. A switch allows you to change between normal (cardioid) and tele (supercardioid) modes, easily altering the microphone’s polar pattern to capture sound for different environments.

This mode is ideal when recording subjects that are in close proximity to the microphone. Tele mode is a supercardioid polar pattern that is more focused than the cardioid pattern, and is better at isolating the subject and rejecting off-axis sound and ambient noise.
