Setting Description
Input Type Specifies the type of equipment that is connected to audio
input 1. Choose Line Input unless you have connected
microphones that do not have an external preamplifier.
Choose Microphone for most wired microphones.
Input Type Level Sets the volume level for audio input 1.
Echo Canceller Lets you specify whether to use the system’s built-in echo
canceller with audio input 1.
Do not enable this option if you have connected a Polycom
Vortex mixer.
Note: This setting only affects audio input 1. Typically, you
should enable this setting only if a microphone is
connected to audio input 1. Microphones connected to the
Polycom microphone input are automatically echo
cancelled.
Content Input Level Specifies the volume level for audio input 4.
Enable Phantom
Power
Allows the system to supply power to microphones
connected directly to the audio input.
Note: This selection is only available when you set Input
Type to Microphone.

Lets you see the peak input signal level present at audio
input 1.
Content Input

Lets you see the peak input signal level present at audio
input 4.
Setting Description
Line Output Mode Specifies whether volume for a device connected to the
audio line out connectors is variable or fixed.
•Variable—Allows users to set the volume with the
remote control.
•Fixed—Sets the volume to the Audio Level specified in
the system interface.
Note: When this setting is set to Fixed, the remote
control’s volume adjustment does not affect the output
level of audio output 1.
Level Sets the volume level for audio output 1 when Line
Output Mode is set to Fixed.
Line Out (dB meter) Lets you see the peak output signal level present at audio
output 1.
