 Speak closer to the console so the
microphones can pick up your speech.
 Add more sound absorbency
to the room.
Muffled or “In a Well” Reception
 Close conference room doors.
 Noisy equipment, such as a computer or
fan, may make it difficult for you to hear
the other party. Both parties should turn
off any noisy equipment.
 Try calling again to see if another line
provides a better connection.
Excessive Noise
 If physical damage is severe enough
that the internal parts become visible,
disconnect the SoundStation Premier
500D/550D immediately. Do not
reconnect it to the network until the
equipment has been repaired.
Physical Damage
Unplug all cords from the modular wall
jack before cleaning. Do not use liquid
cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp
cloth for cleaning.
Maintenance
Unplug the telephone from the modular
wall jack and refer servicing to qualified
service personnel when any of these
conditions exist:
Service
 If liquid has been spilled into the
telephone equipment.
 If the telephone equipment has been
exposed to rain or water.
 If the equipment does not operate
according to operating instructions.
Adjust only those controls described
in the operating instructions.
Do not attempt to adjust any other
controls since doing so may result
in damage to the equipment and will
require extensive work by a qualified
technician to restore the telephone
equipment to normal operation.
 If the telephone equipment has been
dropped or the housing has been
damaged.
 If you note a distinct change in the
performance of the equipment.
