Homologation for Brazil
H.323 & SIP Protocol Flag Options
Using a set of system flags, the user has the ability to select either Polycom proprietary or
H.323/SIP standard protocol settings.
H.323 & SIP Flag Settings
Three flags are enabled on the Collaboration Server, allowing the user to define and select
either standard or proprietary H.323 and SIP protocol settings.
Flag name: SIP_TIMERS_SET_INDEX
Description: SIP Timer type timeout settings according to standard or proprietary protocol.
Flag section: CS_MODULE_PARAMETERS
Possible Values: either 0 or 1.
0 - Polycom standard (flag default setting)
1 - SIP Standard recommendation. For homologation and certification testing, this flag must
be set to 1.
For use as a reference, Table 1 lists the SIP timer types for each flag setting and their
corresponding timeout values in milliseconds.
