Minimum Hardware and Software Laptop Requirements
Before you connect your laptop to the phone, make sure that your laptop meets the minimum hardware
and software requirements.

Connect a USB Device or Laptop
When you connect your Poly phone to a laptop or mobile device, you can use it as a microphone and
speaker.
Procedure
» Connect your laptop or device to the micro USB port on the underside of the phone.
Setting Your Phone as the Audio Device
Set the phone as your audio communication device to use your phone to play call audio from your
communication and collaboration clients or media from your connected laptop.
Set Your Phone as the Default Audio Device for Your Windows Laptop
You can set the connected phone as the default audio device to play media audio from your Windows
laptop using the phone’s speakers.
Procedure
1. On your laptop, go to Start > Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel, go to Hardware and Sound > Sound.
3. Choose the phone you want to use and select Set as Default Device.
4. Select OK.
