Switch Performance template/preset storing mode settings from global to a per-project in
the Config menu.
Punch-in effects
Performancemode gives access to many configurable effects at the same time. There are 12
effects slots that give the option to choose the Fx set that suits the desired creative concept
(see the available Fx list in the Appendix).
Effectsare triggered in real-time using the grid. For each of the chosen effects, there are
four values > first (—) is off by default and the remaining three positions are customizable.
These three are the presets that can be easily turned on by pressing the corresponding grid
pad.
The punch-in effects are applied only on the chosen track. Use the 8 screen keys to indicate
which tracks are going to be affected. Processed tracks will be marked inred.
Important:
The effects are applied in correspondence to the pattern or instrument parameters
values. When the volume effect value is 10, it means that when it is on, it willadd10 to
the value of Volume set in instrument parameters or to the value set in the pattern.
Customize Performance effects when being inEdit mode(pressReckey). Navigate
with the left/right arrow keys and chose the type of effect using the up/down arrow
keys and. Try switching effects on different Fx slots by holding Shift and pressing
arrow keys.
When exiting from Performance to Pattern mode, the sequence keeps on playing, but
the used Performance effects will become disabled.
When switching between Performance and Pattern screens, the effect affected tracks
indicators are getting back to default/off (this prevents unexpected things to happen
when playing live).
The Pattern Length effect will apply to the length of every track, no matter if they are
selected or not.
There’s a newly added Custom Play Mode Performance Fx available for tests (currently
in developement). It’s offering an automatic way of remixing your existing patterns by
using predefined algorithmic shuffle play mode of the existing steps.
