4. FIRST AID MEASURES
General Advice
If symptoms persist, call a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
Eye Contact
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Call a
physician immediately.
Skin Contact
Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek immediate
medical attention/advice
Inhalation
Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapors or decomposition products. If
breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Consult a physician.
Ingestion
If accidentally swallowed obtain immediate medical attention.

Remove all sources of ignition. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and
clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling
Environmental Precautions
Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas. Do not flush into surface
water or sanitary sewer system. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Prevent
product from entering drains.
Methods for Containment
A vapor suppressing foam may be used to reduce vapors.
Methods for Cleaning Up
Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder,
sawdust). Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal.
