HBR-200 & BDR-200 Installation Guide
Hard Drive Installation Guide For Popcorn Hour C-200
Step 1
What you need:
1) Popcorn Hour C-200.
2) HBR-200 HDD BD Combo Rack.
3) BDR-200 Slim BD Slot-in.
4) SATA & Power cable.
5) 3 screws.
6) Philip screw driver.
Step 2
Remove the screw as shown, and slide open the top
cover of C-200.
Step 3
Removing the existing HDD rack.
1) Remove all 4 screws as shown.
2) Remove SATA and Power Cable, please take note
of the cables as you will need it later.
3) Set aside the screws.
Tip: You may like to remove the cable clip
for easy access of the screws.
Step 4
Removing existing HDD rack from cage and replacing it with
HBR-200*
1) Remove all screws that secure the HDD rack.
2) Slide in the HBR-200 and replace all screws,
make sure its tight.
Note: Please skip this step, if your Popcorn Hour
C-200 comes pre-install with HBR-200.
Step 5
Connect the SATA and Power cable as shown to the
BDR-200 prior sliding into the HBR-200.
Step 9
Setting aside the BDR-200 SATA and power cable,
please reconnect the HDD rack SATA and power
cable to your HBR-200 as shown.
Step 6
Slide in the BDR-200 on top of HBR-200, make sure
that the SATA and power cable are properly extended
towards the end.
m-m Tip: Slide in the cable first, it will be easier!
Step 10
Connecting power to the BDR-200.
1) The supplied power cable from BDR-200, it’s a female
connector.
2) Your Popcorn Hour C-200 comes factory pre-fitted with
a extra male power cable.
3) Connect the both together, and make sure its secure as
shown.

Step 7
Installing the BDR-200.
1) Ensure that the screw holes are align.
2) Using the supplied screws, please secure the BDR-200
to the combo rack.
3) Make sure the face plate is flash flat with the combo
rack at the front.
Step 8
Reverse the whole process in step 3 to fasten your new
combo rack to your Popcorn Hour C-200.
Connecting the SATA cable from your BDR-200 to your
Popcorn Hour C-200.
1) On your C-200 mainboard, locate the SATA connectors.
2) Remove SATA1 as shown (SATA2 connects to the HBR-200).
3) Replace it with the SATA cable from BDR-200.
4) Now it’s good time to organize the cables in your C-200 by
using the factory supplied clips.
Tip: You may like to cut the cable tight to remove
the factory fitted SATA cable which is no longer
needed.
Step 12
Now your Popcorn Hour is truly a Hybrid Networked and
Blu-Ray media player!
