PUMP & MOTOR REPLACEMENT - 36” MODEL
BEFORE BEGINNING
Position unit with plenty of working room
on all sides. Disconnect from electrical
and water supplies. Protect against elec-
trical shock.
STEP 1. (FIGURE A.)
Pump replacement is performed from the
pad side. To remove the cooling media
pads, position unit turned with cooling
media pads facing you. The pad flap is
attached at the top of the unit with three
screws. Figure A. illustrates the center
and the right-hand screw. Remove the
three screws attaching the pad flap and
set flap aside.
STEP 2. (FIGURE B.)
Removal of all five pads is necessary.
Remove the center pad first. Remove
pads by grasping pad at the top and tilt-
ing out and away from unit.
STEP 3. (FIGURE C.)
While tilting pad out,remove pad by lifting
up and away from the unit. Remove all
five pads in same manner. Set pads in a
safe place to prevent damage while out
of the unit.
STEP 4. (FIGURE D.)
Remove remaining pads in same manner
removing pads from the center outward.
Unit with all cooling media pads removed
(FIGURE E.) will allow complete access
to the inside of the unit housing and
internal components.

DISCONNECT UNIT FROM

ENVIRONMENT.
PERFORM ALL MAINTENANCE
WITH UNIT UNPLUGGED.
ONLY QUALIFIED AND
TRAINED DISTRIBUTORS
OR FACTORY PERSONNEL
SHOULD PERFORM REPAIRS.
PAD REMOVAL - Both pump and motor replacement are accomplished working from the pad side of
the unit. Follow steps 1 through 4 on this page for both a pump replacement or a motor replacement.
