WARNING: • Failure to disconnect the power supply prior to installation may result in serious injury or death. • Some metal parts in the fixture may have sharp edges. To prevent cuts and scrapes, wear gloves when handling parts. • Account for small parts and destroy packing material, as these may be hazardous to children.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old fixture. 1 DANGER: Failure to disconnect the power supply prior to installation may result in serious injury or death. 2. If necessary, remove the old fixture. To better assist you later in the wiring process, consider making a sketch of how the fixture is wired before you remove it. 3. Attach the mounting bracket (C) to the outlet box (not included) using the long mounting screws (AA).

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 4. If necessary, strip 1/2 in. of insulation from the end of each supply wire. Twist the stripped ends of each strand of wire with pliers (not included). 4 5. Connect supply and fixture (A) wires according to the diagram and these steps: 5 Black White Hardware Used CC Bare White Bare/Green Black • Connect the Bare wire from the fixture (A) to the Bare/Green (ground) supply wire. • Connect the Black wire from the fixture (A) to the Black (hot) supply wire.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 7. Turn the ring (B) clockwise on the threaded rod preassembled on the fixture (A). 7 BB BA 8. Mount the fixture (A) onto the short mounting screws (BB) and secure with rubber washers (EE) and cap nuts (DD). 8 Hardware Used BB Short Mounting Screw x2 EE DD Cap Nut x2 DD EE Rubber Washer x2 9. A BB Install light bulb (not included). Use a 60-watt max. medium-base E26 incandescent bulb or a 13-watt max. medium-base E26 CFL. 6 9 Lowes.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE Important Shut off the main power supply before you begin any maintenance tasks. Periodically clean the fixture using a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner and soft cloth. Do NOT use solvents or cleaners containing abrasive agents and do not spray liquid cleaner directly onto the bulb or wiring. TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM The fixture doesn’t light. POSSIBLE CAUSE 1. Bulb is faulty or burned out. CORRECTIVE ACTION 1. Replace with new bulb. 2. The power is off or the fuse is blown. 2.
