9. Install (2) 17-watt T8/F17T8 fluorescent bulbs (not

included). Do not use any other wattage of linear fluorescent

bulb. Install the bulb into the sockets (B) by aligning the pins

of the bulb with the slot in the sockets (B). Using your

thumbs and forefinger, press the metal ends of the bulb, and

roll the bulb forward until it rotates 90 degrees inside the

socket (B), making contact between the bulb pins and the

socket (B) contacts. Do not touch glass tube. Repeat for

each bulb.

10. To install the diffuser (C), line up the holes at either

end on the diffuser (C) with the holes in the ends of the

fixture (A). Secure the diffuser (C) to the fixture (A) with

the finial caps (BB). Note: Diffuser (C) installation may

require two people.

Restore power to the fixture.

8. Re-attach the wire compartment cover (D) by inserting

the locking tab back into the slot it came out of. Once the

tab is hooked in, carefully close the wire compartment

cover (D), making sure no wires are getting

pinched as it closes. Once secure, insert the

locking fastener (HH) and turn it 1/4 of a

turn or until it is perpendicular to the sides

of the fixture (A).

7. Connect the supply leads from the electrical box to the

fixture wire leads using the wire nuts (AA). The black lead

from the fixture (A) goes to the black supply lead and the

white lead from the fixture (A) goes to the white supply

lead. Secure the wire nuts (AA) properly to prevent the

wires from coming loose. Tape the wire nuts (AA) to the

wire using electrical tape. Carefully push the spliced wires

back into the fixture (A).

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

6. Position the fixture (A) over the screw holes on the

mounting bracket (FF) and pull the supply wires through

the center hole of the fixture pan (A). Using the short

machine screws (EE), secure the fixture (A) onto the

mounting plate (HH). Check to make sure the fixture is

level and tighten the short machine screws (EE).
