5. You may need additional support to ensure the fixture (A) is

flush against the ceiling surface. If so, mark the ceiling at the

locations of the outboard keyhole slots, and using the wood

screws (EE) and/or drywall anchors (DD), further secure the

fixture (A) to your ceiling. For mounting into drywall, drill

3/16 in. pilot holes for the drywall anchors (DD). Insert the drywall

anchors (DD) into the pilot holes, and tap them into place so they

are flush with the surface of your drywall. Screw the wood

screws (EE) into the drywall anchors (DD) (Fig. 5). Tighten until

the fixture pan (A) has been secured to the mounting surface.

Make sure the wood screws (EE) are securely tightened down.

3. Connect the supply leads from the electrical box to the

fixture wire leads using the wire nuts (CC) (Fig. 3). The

black lead from the fixture pan (A) goes to the black

supply lead and the white lead from the fixture pan (A)

goes to the white supply lead. Secure the wire nuts (CC)

properly to prevent the wires from coming loose. Tape the

wire nuts (CC) to the wire using electrical tape. Carefully

push the spliced wires back into the electrical box.

Position the fixture (A) over the electrical box and

attach the fixture (A) to the electrical box using the

supplied machine screws (BB) (Fig. 4).

6. While holding the bulb (C) by plastic body, plug one

of the ballast socket leads (B) onto the bulb (C) pins

(Fig. 6). If the ballast socket lead (B) does not properly

fit over the bulb (C) pins, rotate the socket 90 degrees,

and try again.

7. Carefully place the bulb (C) over the two inside bulb

spring clips (Fig. 7). Slowly bend the bulb spring clips

away from the bulb (C), and allow them to slide over the

bulb (C) surface until engaged. Do not let the clip snap

on the bulb (C) as it could result in bulb breakage.

Repeat this procedure for the other bulb (C).
