SAFETY INFORMATION WARNING • All electrical connections must be in agreement with local codes and ordinances, the National Electric Code (NEC) and ANSI/NFPA 70-1999. Contact your municipal building department to learn about your local codes, permits and/or inspections. Risk of fire - most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated for 140°F. Consult a qualified electrician before installation.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Turn off circuit breakers and wall switch to the fixture supply line leads. 1 DANGER: Failure to disconnect power supply prior to installation may result in serious injury or death. 2. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 4. Loosen cord vice on socket assembly with a screwdriver to adjust cord length. Pull cord through until at proper length, and then tighten cord vice with screwdriver to hold cord at desired length. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 7. Remove socket ring (B) from socket on fixture (A). Attach glass shade (not included) with socket ring (B). 7 7A 6 A NOTE: Do not overtighten socket ring (B) as glass may crack or break. Socket Glass Shade [sold separately] B 8. Install one standard-base 60-watt max. incandescent bulb (not included) or CFL/LED equivalent. *Maximum wattage for fixture (A) is 60 watts--PLEASE NOTE WARNINGS BELOW.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE • Shut off main power supply. Wipe with soft cloth or use window cleaner. Do not use an abrasive cleaner. • Bulb Replacement: Use standard-base bulb, either a 60-watt max. incandescent bulb or CFL/LED equivalent. TROUBLESHOOTING WARNING: Before beginning work, shut off the power supply to avoid electrical shock. PROBLEM Bulb will not light. POSSIBLE CAUSE 1. Bulb is burned out. 2. Power is OFF. 3.
