SAFETY INFORMATION • DO NOT connect the bare or green insulation fixture ground wire to the black (HOT) current-carrying wire or the white (NEUTRAL) house wire. Connection of the bare or green fixture ground wire to the black or white house wires may cause metal parts of the fixture to carry electrical currents. Under this condition, anyone coming in contact with the fixture will receive electrical shock, which could cause serious injury or death.

PREPARATION Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to install, operate or assemble the product.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 3. Remove preassembled socket ring (G) from fixture (A). 3 A Remove glass shade (F) and set aside for later use. F 4a. Remove two decorative nuts (C) from front of fixture (A) and remove mounting strap (B) from back of fixture (A). G 4a A 4b. Attach mounting strap (B) to outlet box (not included) using the existing washers and outlet box screws or the machine screws (BB).

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 5. Adjust screws (D) to proper length by screwing them completely into mounting strap (B). 5 Outlet Box Temporarily place fixture (A) over mounting strap (B) to determine amount of adjustment necessary for screws (D). NOTE: Screws (D) should come through holes in fixture (A) just enough so decorative nuts (C) fit flush against fixture (A) when mounted. Once screws (D) are adjusted, tighten nuts (E) securely against mounting strap (B). A C B D Set fixture (A) aside. 6.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 7. Wrap electrical tape (not included) around each individual wire connector (AA) down to the wire. 7 AA AA WARNING: Make sure no bare wire or wire strands are visible after making connections. Carefully arrange excess wiring and wire connectors (AA) within outlet box. AA Outlet Box 8. Align holes in fixture (A) with screws (D) on mounting strap (B) and push fixture (A) toward wall.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 10. Install one standard-base bulb (not included). Use either a 60-watt max. incandescent bulb, a 13-watt CFL or 6-watt LED. 6 10 A WARNING: When replacing bulb, please allow bulb and fixture (A) to cool down before touching them. Restore power and test fixture (A). If light does not function, please refer to TROUBLESHOOTING on the next page. CARE AND MAINTENANCE • Shut off main power supply. Wipe fixture with soft, damp cloth. Use window cleaner to clean glass.
