The Q8 Series compact thermal printers
provide the power and durability that Postek is
known for, plus they have an extra low working
noise; a great choice for a busy office, retail or
restaurant environment. The secret to these
printers’ quiet operations is the solid, unparal-
leled print engine structure which simplifies
the transmission system and enhances the
printer’s core strength. Furthermore, a
patented heat dispensing convection design
ensures these models seamlessly complete
the most demanding print jobs with worry free
reliability.
A clamshell lid allows for full accessibility to
the media and ribbon compartments, and with
more room to maneuver, loading consumables
is fast. Both direct thermal and thermal trans-
fer printing modes come standard. The reflec-
tive media sensor with multiple mounting
positions and an optional adapter for extra thin
labels to a minimum of 8 mm width promotes
great media flexibility. Three function buttons
and three LED lamps, not usually found on
models this size, allow for easy operations and
quick start-up. Plus, DIP switches offer set-it-
and-forget-it convenience.
