OpeningEmail
Toopentheapplication,dooneofthefollowing:
TouchontheHomescreen.

AddinganEmailAccount
WhenusingtheEmailapplicationforthefirsttime,youmustconfigureyouremailaccount.
TheEmailsetupwizardhelpsyousetupyouraccountfor
manypopularemailsystems,soyou
canreadandworkwiththesameemailthatyoudoonacomputerinawebbrowser,orwith
anotheremailapplication.
1.LaunchEmailapplication.See“OpeningEmail.”
2.EnteryourEmailaddressandPassword.
3.Touch Next.Thedevicewillautomaticallyretrieve
theemailsettings.
Tomanuallysetuptheemail,touchManualsetup.
Note:
IfyoutouchManualsetup,contactyouremailserviceproviderfortheparametersrequiredfor
youraccountifyoudon’tknowwhattheyare.
4.Selectanemailconnectionprotocolwhichbestsuitsyourneeds.Followthe
on‐screen
instructionsandenteralltheserverinformation,Domain,Username,Password,andother
relatedinformation.Tou chNexttocontinue.

Youraccountsettingsmayvary,dependingonthekindofemailservicefortheaccount.Forsetup
parameterdetails,pleasecheckwithyourserviceprovider.
5.SettheInboxchecking
frequencysettingsandtouchNext.
6.EnterNameandAccountdisplayname.
Note:
TheAccountdisplaynameisthenameshownontheEmailscreen.
7.Touch Next.
Aftertheinitialsetup,youremailapplicationopenstodisplaythecontentsofyourInbox.
AddingOtherEmailAccounts
1.Aftercreating
yourinitialemailaccount,touchtheMenukey,andthentouchSettings.
2.Touch ADDACCOUNTtocreateanotheremailaccount.
3.Repeatsteps2~7on“AddinganEmailAccount.”
Tip:Whenaddingasubsequentemailaccount,youcanalsoselectSendemailfromthisaccount
bydefaultoptiontouse
thenewaccounttosendalloutgoingmessages.
