IfyoudonothaveaGoogleaccount,youcancreateone:
1.Touch >Settings( ).
2.InACCOUNTS,touchAddAccount.
3.Touch GoogletocreateaGoogleaccount.
4.Touch Newtocreateanewaccount.
5.Enteryournameandtouch .
6.Entertheusernameandtouch .
ThemobilephonewillconnecttotheGoogleservertocheckwhethertheusernameis
available.Iftheusernameyouenteredisalreadyinuse,youwillbepromptedtochoose
anotherone.
7.EnterandconfirmyourGoogleaccountpassword.
8.Set
therecoveryinformation(i.e.alternativeemailaccountandsecurityquestion)andtouch .
9.Touch JoinGoogle+ifyouwanttojointheGoogle+orNotnowifyouwanttoskipthisstep.
10.Readtheagreementandtouch tocompletetheaccountsetup.
11.Entertheauthenticatingcodeand
touch .
12.EnteryourcreditcardinformationtoenablepurchasesfromGooglePlayStore,andthen
touchSave.Or,touchSkiptoskipthisstep.
UsingGmail
GmailisGoogle’sweb‐basedemailservice.Whenyoufirstsetupyourphone,youmay
haveconfiguredittousean
existingGmailaccountorcreateanewaccount.Thefirsttime
youopentheGmailapplicationonyourphone,yourInboxwillcontainthemessagesfrom
yourGmailaccountontheweb.
OpeningGmail
Touch >Gmail( ).TheInboxmaillistappears.Anyemailsyoudecidetokeepon
your
mobilephonewillgotoyourInboxfolder.
SwitchingBetweenAccounts
Toswitchtoanotheremailaccount,touchtheaccountselectionboxatthetopleftofthe
screen,thentouchtheaccountthatyouwanttoview.
CreatingandSendinganEmail
1.OntheInboxscreen,touch

2.Enterthemessagerecipient’semailaddressintheTofield.
Ifyouaresendingtheemailtoseveralrecipients,separatetheemailaddresseswith
commas.
Ifyouwanttosendacopy(Cc)orablindcopy(Bcc)oftheemailtootherrecipients,touch

key ,andthentouchAddCc/Bcc.
3.Entertheemailsubjectandcomposeyourmessage.
Ifyouwanttoaddapictureattachment,touchtheMenukey,andthentouchAttachfileto
selectthepictureyouwanttoattach.
