Move the machine away from the area of the spill and avoid creating any source of ignition until the gas vapors have dissipated. This is a very UNSAFE method and could result in injury to your hands. • Do not reach or step across the beam while the log splitter is running. This is a very UNSAFE method which could cause personal injury or even death. • Never attempt to split wood across the grain. The log splitter was not designed for cross-grain splitting.

With one hand, actuate and hold the safety lever towards you, then rapidly actuate the engagement handle fully towards the engine until it contacts the hard stop and release. 3. Keep hand clear of engagement handle as auto-retract will spring handle back after the split cycle. 4. Release safety lever.

Lubrication We recommend 1 pump of lithium grease in each pillar bearing before each use. Greasing the Rack and Pinion The entire rack and pinion should be greased before every use. ABS Torque Spec Check Torque Spec of ABS System bolts on the flywheel brake disc. Make sure they are set to 5-6ft lbs. Troubleshooting SYMPTOM The engine won’t start.
POWERKING Rack returning very slow or not going all the way back. Operator Lever Snapping out of gear or not staying in gear. Rack slamming back too fast. Reconnect or replace as needed. Machine wedge end too low. Must be almost level or wedge end slightly higher. Lever not all the way forward when rack comes under full load.
