NOTE:
Walk-Behind Mower Decks – 1 kit needed
42" Decks – 1 kit needed
46," 50" & 54" Decks – 2 kits needed
CAUTION:
For detailed instructions, refer to operator’s manual.
How to install:
1. Remove plug(s) in deck wash opening(s) on top of deck.
2. Determine which nozzle  ts your deck. If there is a hole for a bolt, use Nozzle A (plastic – new style)
and refer to Option A diagram. If there is no hole for a bolt, use Nozzle B (metal – old style) and refer
to Option B diagram.
3a. Nozzle A – Align deck wash nozzle with deck wash opening (the bolt hole on the nozzle must align with
the bolt hole in the deck). Secure nozzle to deck with the provided self-tapping shoulder bolt, with the hex
head to the outside.
3b. Nozzle B – Align deck wash nozzle with deck wash opening (the  at sides of opening and nozzle must
match). From underside of deck, place and tighten  rst the washer then the nut to secure nozzle in place.
4. Attach hose coupling to standard garden hose.
5. Firmly press coupling onto nozzle until it clicks.
6. Turn the water on.
7. For tractors, start engine and engage the PTO/blade(s). For walk-behind mowers, start engine.
Follow all safety precautions outlined in your operator’s manual.
8. Run the engine/blade(s) for a minimum of two minutes, allowing the underside of the cutting
deck to thoroughly rinse.
9. For tractors, disengage PTO/blade(s) and shut the unit off. For walk-behind mowers,
release blade control to stop engine.
10. Turn off water and detach the hose coupler from the nozzle on your deck’s surface.
After cleaning your deck, restart the mower. Keep the engine and blade(s) running for a minimum
of two minutes, allowing the underside of the cutting deck to thoroughly dry.
