b) Slide the handlebar 3 through the hole in the spark plug
wrench 4 and turn it counter clockwise to remove the spark
plug.
c) Check for discoloration and remove any carbon build up. The
porcelain insulator around the center electrode of the spark
plug should be a medium-to-light tan color.
d) Check the spark plug type and gap a. The gap should be
measured with a wire thickness gauge.
e) Install the spark plug. Torque specification is 14.8 ft. lbs. If a
torque wrench is not available, a good estimate of the correct
torque is 1/4-1/2 turn past finger tight.
f) Install the spark plug cap and access cover.

E6TC/E6RTC (BOSCH)
BP7HS / BPR7HS (NGK)
L87YC /R L87YC (CHAMPION)
W16FP / W16FPR (DENSO)
If need EMC Certification, engine must
use E6RTC or BPR7HS spark plug
Spark Plug Gap:
0.6-0.7mm (0.024-0.028in)
