NEVER start the saw with the blade touching the ground or any surface. KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE ALWAYS keep guards in place. In order to prevent injury, keep guards in place and in working order at all times.

Tighten the shaft nut with wrench. Clean collars/flanges; make sure they are not worn. Tighten arbor nut.
II. OPERATION - TROUBLESHOOTING/MAINTENANCE OPERATING PRINCIPLE The following instructions were compiled to provide you information on how to obtain long and trouble free use of the unit. II. OPERATION - TROUBLESHOOTING/MAINTENANCE TO START CUTTING 1. Open water valve and start the flow of water to the blade.. 2. RAISE BLADE OFF GROUND - Start engine and let engine warm up. All cutting is done at full throttle. 3. Align blade and cutter with the cut, 4. Lower blade into cut slowly. 5. Cut as fast as the blade will allow. If blade climbs out of cut, reduce forward speed or depth of cut. Use only enough side pressure on cutter handles to follow cutting lines.
