SLOPE GUIDE
SIGHT AND HOLD THIS GUIDE LEVEL WITH A VERTICAL TREE, A
CORNER OF A STRUCTURE, A POWER LINE POLE, OR A FENCE.
Use this guide and do not split wood on a slope greater than 5 degrees.
A 5-degree slope is a hill that increases in height at approximately 1.7 feet
in 10 feet.
Use extreme care at all times and avoid sudden turns or maneuvers.
Follow other instructions in this manual for safety in splitting wood on slopes.
Use extra care when operating on or near slopes and obstructions.
