8 CLEANING
To avoid accidents always disconnect the tool from the power supply
before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
The tool may be cleaned most effectively with compressed dry air.
! Always wear safety goggles when cleaning tools with compressed air.
For safe and proper working, ventilation slots and switch levers must be kept clean and free of
debris. Do not attempt to clean by inserting pointed objects through openings.
! Certain cleaning agents and solvents damage plastic parts.
Do not use gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and
household detergents that contain ammonia, these may damage your machine.
9 STORAGE
After use, please cool down the unit and clean it according to previous chapter.
Disassemble the drill/chissel and pack the unit into the provided toolscase. Store the unit in a
dry and frost-protectet area out the the reach of children.
10 WARRANTY
This product is warranted in accordance with legal regulations for a 36 months period effective
from the date of purchase by the first user.
This warranty covers all material or production failures, it does not include : defects from
normal wear & tear parts, such as bearings, brushes, cables, plugs or accessories like drills,
drill bits, saw blades etc. ;damage or defects resulting from abuse, accidents or alterations;
nor the costs for transport.
We reserve the right to reject any claim where the purchase cannot be verified or when it is
clear that the product was not maintained properly. (clean ventilation slots, carbon brushes
serviced regularly,…)
Your purchase ticket must be kept as proof for date of purchase.
Your un-dismantled tool must be returned to your dealer in an acceptably clean state, in its
original blow molded case if applicable to unit, accompanied by your proof of purchase.
11 ENVIRONMENT
Should your machine need replacement after extended use, do not put it in the
domestic waste but dispose of it in an environmentally safe way.
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please
recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for
recycling advice.
