EN POWDPG7550 BRUSH CUTTER 40V POWDPG7550 1 APPLICATION Depending on the assembled cutting tools, the bush cutter can be used to mow lawns or meadows, and to trim scrub, shrubs, bushes and very small trees. It is for private use. The device cannot be used for other purposes. Not suitable for professional use. WARNING! For your own safety, read this manual and general safety instructions carefully before using the appliance. Your power tool should only be passed on together with these instructions.

EN POWDPG7550 Wear safety glasses and ear protection. Watch out for thrown objects and ricochets Never operate the machine in the rain or in damp or wet condition. Moisture is a shock hazard. "Class II - The machine is double insulated; Earthing wire is therefore not necessary (only for charger) Keep a minimum distance of 15m between the machine and third parties during use. Do not expose charger and battery pack to water Do not incinerate battery pack or charger Ambient temperature 40°C max.

POWDPG7550    EN Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock. When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

EN POWDPG7550 5.5 Service  Have your power tool serviced by a qualified person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained. 6 ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS FOR BRUSH CUTTERS 6.1 General instructions  Do not allow persons unfamiliar with the brush cutter/string trimmer or these instructions to operate the tool. Brush cutter and string trimmers are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Never allow children or other persons not trained in the use of the machine and/or the battery to use or service it. Local laws may regulate the age of the user. Store the equipment in a lockable area so that it is out of reach of children and unauthorized persons.

If connection is made between the positive (+) and negative (-) terminal directly or via accidental contact with metallic objects, the battery is short circuited and an intense current will flow causing heat generation which may lead to casing rupture or fire.  Do not heat.

POWDPG7550 8.2 EN Removal / insertion of battery WARNING: Before making any adjustments ensure the tool is switched off or remove the battery pack.    Hold the tool with one hand and the battery pack (10) with the other. To install: push and slide battery pack into battery port, make sure the release latch on the rear side of the battery snaps into place and battery is secure before beginning operation. To remove: Press the battery release latch and pull the battery pack out at the same time. 8.

Then tighten the one nut by clockwise rotate. 9.4.2     Spool Installing order is A-F (Fig.6) Hold the trimmer head, insert the hex wrench through the hole on the receive washer, then tighten the one nut by clockwise rotate.(Fig 7) Fit the spring into the trimmer head (Fig 7) Align the protrusion on the underside of the cover with the slots of the eyelets.

POWDPG7550 10.3.4 EN Trimming around trees Trim around tree trunks slowly so string does not contact bark. Walk around the tree trimming from left to right. Approach grass or weeds with the tip of the string and tilt stringhead slightly forward 10.3.5 Scalping WARNING: Use extreme caution when SCALPING. Keep a distance of 30 meters (100 feet) between operator, other people and animals during these operations. Scalping refers to removal of all vegetation down to the ground.

Waste produced by electrical machine items should not be handled like normal household rubbish. Please recycle where recycle facilities exist.
