time press the lock-on button (5). Subsequently release the on/off switch.
To switch off continuous mode, press the on/off switch again.
Never put down the machine when using the continuous mode!
8.6 For proper operations
Hold the drill with your first two fingers on the ON/OFF switch (4).
Use the auxiliary handle subassembly (8) where possible to gain extra control and to
prevent fatigue.
For wood, use twist drill bits, spade bits power auger bits, or hole saw.
For metal use high speed steel twist drill bits or hole saws.
For masonry, such as brick, cinder block, cemetery, etc, use carbide tipped drill bits.
Use enough pressure to keep the bit biting but do not push so hard that do not stall the
motor or damage the bit.
Always apply pressure in a straight line with the bit.
Hold the drill firmly to control the twisting of the drill.
WarningIf the drill stalls, release the trigger immediately, remove the drill
from the work and determine the cause of the stalling. Do not click the
switch on and off as this can damage the motor.
To minimize the chance of stalling and breaking through the material, reduce the pressure
on the drill and ease the bit through the last part of the hole.
Keep the motor running when pulling the bit back out of a drilled hole. This will help
prevent jamming.
9 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before performing any work on the equipment, pull the power plug.
9.1 Cleaning
Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine.
Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.
Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.
If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may
damage the plastic parts.
9.2 Maintenance
Our machines have been designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum of
maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper machine care and
regular cleaning.
