EN POWX516      Avoid accidental starts. Ensure the switch is in the off position before inserting the plug. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools when the switch is in the on position makes accidents more likely. Remove any adjusting keys or spanners before turning on the power tool. A spanner or key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury. Do not reach out too far. Keep your feet firmly on the ground at all times.

EN POWX516 6.3 Fuel is highly flammable and poisonous Danger for fire /intoxication.      6.4 Always turn off the engine when refueling, allow generator to cool down before refueling. Never refuel while smoking or in the vicinity of an open flame. Take care not to spill any fuel on the engine or muffler when refueling. Wipe up spilt petrol immediately If you swallow any fuel, inhale fuel vapor, or allow any to get in your eyes, see your doctor immediately.

EN POWX516 8.3 Assembly of handle clamp and handle Mount the two handles, one left, one right. Use the supplied 4 washers, 2 bolts M8x45 and 2 nuts M8. 8.4 Assembly wheels Slide every wheel over an axle. Put a cotter pin in the bore of every wheel axle and bend the ends of the cotter pin to fix. 9 CONTROL FUNCTIONS 9.1 Recoil starter To start the engine, pull the starter grip lightly until resistance is felt, then pull briskly. Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine.

EN POWX516 10 PRE-OPERATION CHECK 10.1 Engine oil Engine oil is a major factor affecting engine performance and service life. Non-detergent and 2-stroke engine oils will damage the engine and are not recommended.  Check the oil level before each use with the generator on a level surface and the engine stopped.  Use 4-stroke motor oil.  SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general, all-temperature use.

POWX516 EN 11 OPERATION DANGER: Before operation connect your generator to earth! This way you will avoid static charges (possible electric shock) and will enable protective devices to respond (e.g. leakage current trip switches) on the appliances being connected. Use a shielded conducting cable with a minimum cross-section of 1.5 mm² to connect your generator to an earthing point (e.g. a water or heating pipe). Connect the conductor to the earthing connection on your generator and tighten it securely.

Turn the engine switch to the OFF position. Turn the fuel valve lever to the OFF position. Emergency stopping: Turn the engine switch to “OFF”. The engine will stop immediately. 11.

EN POWX516    Check the oil drain plug, gasket, oil filler cap and O-ring. If damaged replace. Reinstall the oil drain bolt. Refill engine oil to the upper level. (Fig. 7) 12.4 Air filter (Fig. 8) A dirty air cleaner will restrict air flow to the carburetor. To prevent carburetor malfunction, service the air cleaner regularly. Service more frequently when operating the generator in extremely dusty areas. 1. Unsnap the air cleaner cover clips, remove the air cleaner cover and remove the element. 2.

POWX516 EN 12.7 Muffler screen The engine and muffler will be very hot after the engine has been run. Avoid touching the engine and muffler while they are still hot with any part of your body or clothing during inspection or repair.  Remove the muffler protector and muffler screen.  Clean the carbon deposits out of the muffler screen using a wire brush.  Check the muffler screen. Replace it if damaged.  Install the muffler screen and muffler protector.

POWX516 EN 17 TROUBLE SHOOTING Problem The engine will not start No electricity at the AC receptacles Possible cause Is there fuel in the tank? Is there enough oil in the engine? Is the spark plug in good condition? Is the fuel reaching the carburetor? Is the AC circuit breaker ON? Check the electrical appliance or equipment for any defects; Solution Refill the fuel tank. Add the recommended oil. Readjust gap and dry the spark plug. Replace it if necessary. Clean the fuel sediment cup.

POWX516 EN 19 ENVIRONMENT Should your appliance need replacement after extended use, do not dispose of it with the household refuse, but in an environmentally safe way. Waste of electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist.
