3 EN POWXG6025 SYMBOLS MARKED ON THE PRODUCT In this manual and/or on the machine the following symbols are used: Read manual before use. Keep bystanders away. Pay more attention to the operator's hands and feet to avoid injury. Fuel is flammable, keep fire away. Do not use this machine on slopes greater than 16,7°. Toxic fumes! Don't operate inside house. Wear hearing protection. Wear eye protection. When repairing, please take out the spark plug. Then repair according to the operation manual.

Make sure the area to be mowed is cleared of sticks, stones, bones, wire and debris. They could be thrown by the blades. Store fuel in a cool place in a container specifically designed for that purpose. Handle fuel carefully. It is highly flammable. Refuel outdoors only. Do not smoke when refuelling engine. Add fuel before starting engine.

EN POWXG6025 5 ASSEMBLY Read these instruction and this manual in its entirety before you attempt to assemble to operate your new lawnmower. IMPORTANT:The lawn mower is shipped WITHOUT OIL OR FUEL in the engine. Your new lawn mower has been assembled and tested at the factory. 5.1 Remove lawn mower from carton Roll lawn mower out of carton and check carton thoroughly for additional loose parts. 5.2 Folding handle (Fig. 1)  Unfold handle carefully so as not to pinch or damage the control cables.

EN POWXG6025 Hints for mulch-mowing:  Regular cut-back by max .2 cm (for example from 6 cm to 4 cm grass height).  Make sure the mowing blade is sharp.  Do not mow wet grass.  Set max. motor speed.  Move forward at low speed (allow mower to chopp grass in mower housing)  Regularly clean mulching wedge, housing inner side and mowing blade. 6.2.1 Mounting mulching wedge (Fig. 6) Make sure the motor stopped and blade has come to a complete standstill!!     6.

POWXG6025 EN WARNING: never fill fuel tank indoors, with engine running or until the engine has been allowed to cool for at least 15 minutes after running.     Fill fuel tank to base of tank filler neck. Use fresh, clean, regular unleaded gasoline. Do not overfill. Do not mix oil with gasoline. To assure fuel freshness, only purchase fuel in quantities that can be used within 30 days. CAUTION: Wipe off any spilled oil or fuel.

EN POWXG6025 Turn the Auto Move handle, the lawnmower will move forward automatically with a speed of 1 m/s (3.6 km/h). CAUTION: your mower is designed to cut normal residential grass of a height no more than 250 mm. Do not attempt to mow through unusually tall dry grass (e.g, pasture) or piles of dry leaves. Debris may build up on the mower deck or contact the engine exhaust presenting a potential fire hazard. 7.8 For the best results when mulching Clear lawn of debris.

POWXG6025 EN CAUTION: Do not at any time make any adjustment to lawnmower without first stopping the engine and disconnecting the spark plug wire. CAUTION: before changing mowing height, stop mower and disconnect spark plug cable. Your gasoline lawnmower is equipped with a central height adjustment lever offering 6 height positions  Stop mower and disconnect spark plug cable before changing mower cutting height.  The central height adjustment lever offers you 6 different height positions.

EN POWXG6025 8.1 Spark plug (8) Use only original replacement spark plug. For best results, replace the spark plug every 100 hours of use.  Stop the engine and remove the spark plug wire.  Remove spark plug  Screw the replacement spark plug into the engine and tighten to 25-30 Nm torque and replace spark plug wire.  Spark plug gap. 0.6 – 0.7 mm. CAUTION: Do not over-tighten the spark plug as engine damage may occur. 9 LUBRICATION INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION: Disconnect spark plug wire before servicing.

EN POWXG6025 For best results your blade should be sharp. The blade may be resharpened by removing it and either grinding or filing the cutting edge keeping as close to the original bevel as possible. It is extremely important that each cutting edge receives an equal amount of grinding to prevent an unbalanced blade. Improper blade balance will result in excessive vibration causing eventual damage to the engine and mower. Be sure to carefully balance blade after sharpening.
