Turn off the power switch and disconnect the battery before making any adjustments, inspecting, servicing, changing accessories, cleaning the snow thrower,or when any other dangerous conditions present. Any such operation should be performed after revolving parts inside the snow thrower stop completely. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.

Information about the battery 1. The battery pack supplied with your cordless snow thrower is only partially charged. The battery pack has to be charged completely before you use the tool for the first time. 2. For optimum battery performance, avoid low discharge cycles by charging the battery pack frequently. 3. Store the battery pack in a cool place, ideally at 59°F (15°C) and charged to at least 40%. 4. Lithium-ion batteries are subject to a natural aging process.
. Never use or charge batteries if you suspect that it has been more than 12 months since the last time they were charged. There is a high probability that the battery pack has already suffered dangerous damage (exhaustive discharge). 9. Do not use batteries that have been exposed to heat during the charging process, as the battery cells may have suffered dangerous damage. 10.
• Malfunctioning switch – Do not use the snow thrower if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any appliance that cannot be controlled by the switch is not safe to use and must be repaired. • Hitting an object – If the snow thrower accidentally strikes an object, first stop the snow thrower and remove the battery; next, inspect for damage; finally, repair or replace any damaged part before restarting and operating the snow thrower.

ASSEMBLY The following section describes steps necessary to prepare the snow thrower for use. If after reading this section, you are unsure about how to perform any of the steps please call (800) 791-9458 Mon-Fri 9-5 EST for customer service assistance. Failure to perform these steps properly can damage the snow thrower. Unpacking Unpack the snow thrower and all its parts and compare against the list below. 1. Snow Thrower 2. Discharge Chute Assembly ASSEMBLY Your Snow Thrower will require some assembly.
OPERATION Auger Control 1. Open the battery compartment cover and slide the battery down. (Fig.3) Fig.3 2. Insert the safety key into the slot and close the battery compartment cover. (Fig.4) Fig.4 3. Press ON/OFF switch on the panel and squeeze the left trigger to engage auger. You can release ON/OFF switch after Auger turning. ON/OFF Switch Fig.
Adjust Throw Height 1. The chute deflector on the top of the discharge chute controls the height of the snow stream.Loosen the knobs to raise or lower the deflector to the desired height of snow you wish to throw.Tighten the knobs to secure the deflector.(Fig.6) Fig.6 Adjust Throw Distance 1. NOTE: Immediately after using the battery pack, the charge level button may display a lower charge than it will if checked a few minutes later. The battery cells “recover” some of theircharge after resting. Charger Operation WARNING! Charge only POWERSMART lithium-ion battery packs in compatible POWERSMART lithium-ion charger.Other types of batteries may cause personal injury and damage. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not allow water to flow into the charger's AC/DC plug.
3. Place the battery packs into the charger by sliding the packs as shown to lock it into position. When you insert the batteries into the charger, the Indicator light will start to flash.When four green light for battery are lit, the battery is fully charged. A fully discharged pack with an internal temperature in the normal range will fully charge in 1.5 hours (between 32°F/0°C and 165°F/50°C).

Lifetime Lubrication (Motor + Auger) Lubrication is not necessary and may damage the unit. The snow thrower is lubricated for lifetime use at the factory before shipment. General Maintenance Tips 1.
STORAGE • Run the snow thrower for a few minutes in order to melt any snow that may be left on the snow thrower. • Wipe the snow thrower off with a dry cloth before storage. This will help prevent ice building up on the unit and parts freezing. • Remove the battery and store it in a cool dry location, if possible. Charge the battery every six months when not in use in order to increase its life. • Inspect the snow thrower thoroughly for worn, loose, or damaged parts.
