Instructions / Assembly

After any repair to the tire, do not exceed 30 PSI when filling with air. Pressures higher than 30 PSI can
cause the tire and wheel to rupture and explode.
Wedge
If the wedge becomes dull or nicked, it can be removed and sharpened. Remove the bolts that connect the
wedge to the cylinder and beam. Carefully lift the cylinder to allow the wedge to slide forward. The
wedge can now be lifted off and sharpened.
Changing hydraulic fluid
1. Begin with the cylinder retracted and the engine “OFF.”
2. Turn the fuel valve “OFF.”
3. Release any stored pressure by moving the valve lever forward and backward several times.
4. Place a container under the hydraulic tank. Make sure it is large enough to hold the contents of the
tank.
5. To drain the fluid, unscrew and remove the tank drain plug on the bottom of the hydraulic tank. Drain
any oil in the filter into the container.
6. Allow fluid to completely drain from the tank into the container.
7. Reinsert and tighten the tank drain plug.
8. Remove hydraulic dipstick.
9. Fill hydraulic tank with AW32, ASLE H-150, or ISO 32 hydraulic fluid. Use a funnel if need.
10. Remove hydraulic dipstick and check the level. Note: Do not screw in dipstick when checking levels.
11. Start engine and use split control lever to extend and retract wedge five times to remove air from the
hydraulic system.
12. With wedge retracted, check oil level again.
