ESPAÑOL BÁSICAMENTE Los aparatos PowerSpot son generadores eléctricos portátiles de baja potencia alimentados por combustión externa, refrigerados por agua o aire, y prácticamente libres de mantenimiento y averías.
POWERSPOT THERMIX Especialmente diseñado para iluminar, cargar y calentar sin necesidad de supervisión.
DIRIGIDO A: Uso constante o viviendas aisladas. un teléfono o iluminar un solo dormitorio o cuarto de baño. Este aparato ha sido diseñado para instalaciones aisladas, sin acceso a la red eléctrica o que sufren o pueden sufrir cortes de electricidad, y que necesitan un uso de varias horas ó constante sin necesidad de supervisión. Una típica vivienda de no más de diez habitaciones -aislada en la montaña, o en la nieve, o en una jungla- es el punto ideal para que el Thermix demuestre su capacidad.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO Este Kit PowerSpot Thermix incluye: • Un generador Thermix • Un conector doble • Dos cables conectores-alargadores con toma para bombillas E-27 • Dos bombillas PowerSpot Aire de 9W • Un convertidor 12V a USB 5V-2A 1. Colocar el Thermix sobre una llama mediana. Esto es: de la mitad de diámetro o menos que la base del Thermix. En unos segundos el ventilador comenzará a moverse.
3. Esperar alrededor de dos minutos. El voltímetro instalado en el mango indica la intensidad generada. El óptimo es de 12 a 15 voltios y la temperatura indicada en la etiqueta térmica situada en el costado izquierdo de la cubierta no debe sobrepasar los 75ºC. Si la temperatura indicada es superior a ésta, se está aplicando un exceso de fuego. El color de las distintas barras de la etiqueta térmica varía según la temperatura alcanzada.
USO Y APLICACIONES A. Móviles, tablets y pilas recargables: Se ha de enchufar el pequeño convertidor USB a la toma de 12V hembra alojada en el extremo del mango del Thermix, y en la salida USB conectar el aparato deseado. Sin embargo, estos aparatos provocan una caída general de tensión inferior a 6V, por lo que el ventilador bajará sus revoluciones, refrigerando menos el conjunto. Así, se debe ajustar la llama para que la temperatura indicada en la etiqueta térmica no sobrepase nunca los 90oC.

Si estos apagones ocurren se deberá, o bien bajar la intensidad del fuego, o bien desconectar algunas bombillas. C. Electrodomésticos: Hoy día existe una multitud de aparatos que funcionan gracias a la toma USB de un ordenador. Cualquier artefacto de estos funcionará perfectamente conectado al Thermix. Asimismo, pequeños dispositivos de 12V también podrán ser alimentados.
PRECAUCIONES A. Nunca desatornillar ni aflojar los tornillos de la tapa ni los interiores. Pues han sido ajustados dinamométricamente para conseguir un rendimiento máximo. Si se manipulan los tornillos de la tapa, el Thermix se desajustará. Si se manipulan los del interior, se desajustará y las placas termoeléctricas alojadas en su interior se deteriorarán irremediablemente. B. Nunca sumergir.
MANTENIMIENTO Si se va a dejar a la intemperie, colocarlo hacia abajo, de manera que no caigan objetos extraños entre las aspas del ventilador. Antes de ponerlo sobre el fuego, siempre revisar que nada impida el giro de las aspas del ventilador. Para limpiarlo, pasar un paño suave por su superficie. SUGERENCIAS Thermix puede funcionar perfectamente colocado sobre superficies calientes como una barbacoa, una plancha caliente, una estufa o una placa vitrocerámica.
Thermix puede alcanzar los 20V sobre la llama adecuada, aunque el voltímetro incluido sólo alcanza a indicar 17,3V. Con esta tensión el ventilador expulsará una fuerte corriente de aire, pero su vida se verá seriamente acortada. Si se va a utilizar como calentador, sugerimos que no se le deje sobrepasar los 15V si se espera que se cumplan las 50.000 horas garantizadas por el fabricante. Idealmente, Thermix provee dos puntos de luz a 9W ( 1.600 lúmenes).

ENGLISH BASICALLY PowerSpot devices are portable low power electric generators fed by external combustion, cooled by water or air, and practically maintenance and failure free.
POWERSPOT THERMIX It has been specially designed to produce light, recharge and heat up and be left unattended.
ADDRESSED TO: Constant use or isolated homes. This device has been designed for isolated installations that have no access to a power network or often experience or could experience power cuts but need to function constantly or during several hours unattended. A typical home of no more than ten bedrooms – isolated in the mountain, snow or wild forest – is the ideal location for Thermix to prove its capability.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE This Kit PowerSpot Thermix includes: • A Thermix generator • A double connector • Two extension-connector cables with inlet for E-27 light bulbs • Two 9W PowerSpot Air bulb 1. Place the Thermix over a medium flame. This is: of more or less half the diameter of the Thermix base. In a few seconds the fan will start to move. If the indicated temperature in the thermic label surpasses 90ºC, it must be removed, let it cool and repositioned over a smaller flame.
3. Wait around 2 minutes. The voltmeter on the handle indicates the generated intensity. The optimum intensity is between 12 and 15 volts and the indicated temperature on the thermal label located on the left side of the cover should not surpass the 75ºC. If the temperature is higher, then it is because there is an excess of flame. The colour of the bars on the thermal label varies according to the reached temperature. If the bar is black, the temperature is inferior or higher to the figure it indicates.
APPLICATIONS A. Mobile phones, tablets and rechargeable batteries: A small USB converter must be connected to the 12v inlet in the tip of the Thermix handle, and then connect the desired device to the USB outlet. However, these devices can provoke a general voltage drop inferior to 6V, therefore the fan will decrease its revolutions, cooling the device less. Therefore, the flame has to be adjusted so the indicated temperature in the thermal label does not surpass 90oC.

If those blackouts take place, you will either have to decrease the flame intensity or disconnect some light bulbs. C. Electrical appliances: Today there are multiple electrical appliances that work through a USB connection to the computer. Any of those appliances will work perfectly if connected to the Thermix. Also, small 12V devices can also be fed. For example, small radios or portable fans.
PRECAUTIONS A. Never unscrew or loosen up the screws on the cover or inside the device. They have been fixed with a micro dynamometer to achieve its maximum performance. If you manipulate the screws on the cover, the Thermix will work badly. If the inner screws are tampered, the thermoelectric modules will break down inevitably.” B. Never immerse underwater.
MAINTENANCE If the device is going to be left outside, place it downward, so strange objects cannot fall over the fan blades. Before placing it over a flame, please check that nothing is blocking the fan blades from spinning. To clean, use a soft cloth over the surface. SUGGESTIONS Thermix can work perfectly by placing it over hot surfaces such as a barbecue, a hot iron, a heater or a vitroceramic hob.
Thermix can reach 20V over the adequate flame, although the voltmeter included can only indicate up to 17.3V. With this tension the fan will release a powerful heat air stream, but its life will be severely shortened. If it is going to be used as a heater, we suggest that it does not surpass the 15V if you desire to fulfil the 50,000 hours guaranteed by the manufacturer. Ideally, Thermix provides two 9W light points (1,600 lumens).
